When you sign up for email updates, we receive your email address. When you make a donation, our payment processor receives the name, contact details, and payment information you enter.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability. Once our analytics tools are active, we use them to understand how the site is used in aggregate, as described under Cookies and Analytics below.

How we use it

Donations made through this site are processed by third-party payment processors. Your full card or bank details go directly to the processor and are never stored on our servers. Payment processors handle your information under their own privacy policies and security certifications. We receive the donation details needed for receipts, acknowledgment, and recordkeeping.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run this site: website hosting, form delivery, email sending, and donation processing. Each receives only the information needed to do its job for us, and each is bound by its own privacy and security commitments. We do not share personal information with any other third party except as required by law.

When our analytics tools are active, they may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure visits in aggregate, including Google Analytics and, for measuring the effectiveness of our outreach, the Meta pixel. We keep correspondence and subscriber information for as long as it is needed for the purpose you gave it to us. Donation records are kept as long as charitable recordkeeping and tax rules require.

• Every email update includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
• You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law does not require us to keep it. Write to us at the address below.

Children

This site is directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and its effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
